WhatsApp ‘Delete for Everyone’ Feature May Get Extension to Over 2 Days; Communities Details Surface

WhatsApp reportedly works to extend the time limit for features ‘delete for everyone’ for two days and 12 hours from one hour, eight minutes, and 16 seconds. Extensions will help users delete the wrong messages they are sent for a longer period of time. Separately, the WhatsApp community feature has been detailed through screenshot. This feature will allow the group admin to add and manage their whosapp groups from one place. It will also let the admin send an important announcement for all members at once.

According to the report by WhatsApp Beta Tracker Wabetainfo, WhatsApp for Android Beta version 2,22,410 has brought a reference to suggest the time limit extension to ‘delete for every day and 12 hours. This, in other words, means the user will get two and a half days to permanently delete messages After being removed using the feature, the message will be replaced with a notification that says, “This message is deleted This is mainly not the first time WhatsApp reportedly has an extension for the ‘delete feature for everyone in the work. In November last year, instant messaging applications reportedly planned to extend the time limit of more than seven days.

Waretainfo reported that the extension for more than seven days seemed unfair because most people did not want to delete the message they sent more than a week before. However, at this time it is not clear whether whatsapp will make the new final deadline or bring some changes when making it public WhatsApp introduced an hour’s time limit in 2018. Features to remove messages for everyone in the chat initially had a seven-minute time limit. Updates have not been seen even for beta testers. Similarly, the right timeline at any time will arrive not available.

In addition to the time limit extension, Wabetainfo has seen the introductory screen for the WhatsApp community on WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.4.9. The screen will basically tell the user about how new offers will work As seen from the screenshot of the introductory screen distributed by Wabetainfo, the WhatsApp community will allow the group admin to add groups that manage one place for quick access. Part of the community will also help the group admin simultaneously send new announcements to all members of their group.

WhatsApp hasn’t provided details about when the community will actually be available for end users. The beta version also does not provide public references to updates Waretainfo has also tweeted several images to show how messaging reactions will be available for WhatsApp users on Android and iPhone in the future. The reaction is said to be secured by encryption to end – the same as the message shared on the application Details about when we can see the reaction in the WhatSAPP public release has not been revealed. This feature, however, has been tested if we see some of the latest reports.
