Karachi attack underlines need for taking ‘undifferentiated’ position against terrorism: India

“Our attitude towards all forms of terrorism everywhere has been steadfast and consistent,” said Arindam Bagchi. For two weeks after Shehbaz Sharif became the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, India on Thursday said there was no change in his approach to being involved with neighboring countries, stating that his responsibilities were in Islamabad to create an environment free of terror for talks.

A spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs Arindam Bagchi also said that terror attacks in Karachi only underline the need for all countries to take a “unprerentiated” position of terrorism and that India condemns all such attacks.Bagchi really refused Mr. Sharif, who described the new visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Kashmir as “staged” and said Pakistan did not have a locus standi to comment on it.

India against all forms of terrorAsked about terror attacks at the University of Karachi, Bagchi said the establishment of India for all forms of terrorism had been “steadfast”.”Our attitude towards all forms of terrorism everywhere has been steadfast and consistent. We have condemned (them). This special event only underlines the need for all countries to take a position that is no different against terrorism,” he told the weekly media direction.

Three Chinese language teachers and their local drivers were killed in suicide bombings at Karachi University on Tuesday.Asked whether India’s position to be involved with Pakistan was changing, Mr. Bagchi said there was no change for that.”Our approach is very simple. There should be an atmosphere that is free from terrorism; then only the discussion can occur. There is an exchange of politeness between two prime ministers. This is our legal request that there is an environment that is free from terror,” he said.

Mea spokesman said without such an environment, the conversation could not occur, adding “There was no change in our approach”.After Mr. Sharif became Prime Minister, Mr. Modi wrote a letter to him that India wanted a constructive relationship with Pakistan. In the answer, Mr. Sharif provides “meaningful” involvement between the two countries.Asked about Mr. Sharif who described Mr. Modi to Kashmir on Sunday as “staged”, Mr. Bagchi wondered what he really means.

“Regarding the problem of the visit of the Prime Minister to the Union Jammu and Kashmir, I do not understand the word ‘staged’. It seems that the visit did not happen and we tried to show that it happened,” he said.”It is very clear in the reception he gets and the visuals you see and the development projects that he stated and the changes that have occurred in the field, are very clear answers for every question that may be asked about the Prime Minister visit,” said Mr. Bagchi.”However, Pakistan does not have a locus to talk about it from this perspective about what happened in your hour and Kashmir and I answered it in the context of someone who questioned the visit itself,” he said.

‘The free environment of terror must be for talks’India has stated that they want a normal neighbor’s relationship with Pakistan while insisting that their responsibilities are in Islamabad to create an environment that is free from terror and hostility for such involvement. The relationship between India and Pakistan was under severe pressure after Indian fighter plane pounded the Jaish-E-Mohammed terrorist training camp in Balakot in Pakistan in February 2019 in response to Pulwama terror attacks. The relationship worsened after India in August 2019 announced the withdrawal of special strengths Jammu and Kashmir and Bifurkasi of the State into two union regions.
