New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) has sent millions throughout the country, urging them to connect their pan with their aadhaar card before March 31, 2022. The bank has warned its users to do the work needed before the due date if not , their banking services can be affected.
SBI said in a tweet, “We suggest our customers to link their pan with Aadhaar to avoid discomfort and continue to enjoy smooth banking services “If it is not linked, the pan will be considered not operating / inactive and cannot be used to conduct specific transactions.” Bank added In particular, SBI has extended the deadline for connecting PAN with Aadhaar from 30 September 2021 to 31 March 2022, maintaining the ongoing view of the pandemic.
This is how to connect a Pan-aadhaar card in the first way
Step 1: Go to the Official Income Tax website
Step 2: Click on the ‘Aadhaar Link’ option.
Step 3: On a new page, enter your Pan and Aadhaar details.
Step 4: Select the box ‘I only have a birth year on aadhaar cards’ if only your birth date is mentioned in the document.
Step 5: Detail verification through the CAPTCHA code or select OTP option.
Step 6: Select the aadhaar and your pan and aadhaar link will be linked.
