Twenty -seven people were killed in a bus accident in Southwest China on Sunday, said the police, in the deadliest road accident in the country this year. The accident occurred on the highway in the rural province of Guizhou when a vehicle carrying 47 people in total “reversed to his side,” said the police in a statement published on social media.
The remaining 20 people were treated for injuries and emergency respondents were sent to the scene, said the police, without giving further details. The accident occurred in the Qiannan prefecture – the Guizhou section that was poor, remote, and mountains, home for several ethnic minorities.
In June, a driver was killed after a high -speed train slipped in Guizhou Province. And in March, the Chinese passenger jet accident killed all 132 people on the ship, marking the deadliest flight accidents that would occur in China for decades.
